Liminal’s 2000 retreat

Liminal’s second annual retreat took place at a large home in the woods of the Siuslaw National Forest in Deadwood, Oregon. The location featured a large yurt where the ensemble worked on creating physical actions, mutual physicality, voice and song. As with the first retreat in summer 1999 at the Menucha Retreat and Conference Center in the Columbia River Gorge (alas, we have no photos), each day’s nine hours of sweaty work was rewarded with great food, libations and a steamy hot whirlpool spa.
