Madeleine Sanford, currently Liminal’s Princess in Residence (PIR), escaped from a hellhole outside of Dallas, Texas to wander around the country and find refuge in the watery city of roses, bridges, damn fine coffee and new performance. Back in Dallas, she worked with the Ampersand Theatre & Dance Company. In Portland, she’s worked with Liminal, defunkt theatre, Pavement Productions, Radiant Theatre, Hand2Mouth, and others, with a focus on movement-based theatre.

She is currently exploring the mysteries of the universe via Argentine Tango, which she studied with “El Pibe” Avellenada in Buenos Aires. She’s also a pediatric oncology nurse and working on a Master’s to become a Nurse Practitioner so she can give all her uninsured acting compatriots free medical care, although she doesn’t have a plan for how they’ll afford the prescriptions.
